Speedboat Trip FAQ
About 45 minutes each way from Hurghada Marina. The day boat takes 1.5 hours each way. Total door-to-door speedboat time including hotel pickup is around 4 hours.
Two daily slots: a morning slot (pickup around 08:30, return by 13:00) and an afternoon slot (pickup around 12:30, return by 17:00). Pick the slot that fits your day at booking.
Because it is a private boat just for your group, not a shared one. You get the whole speedboat (up to 8 guests), faster travel time, two flexible slot times, and the option to add dolphin watching or Magawish Island, all for one flat price of 130 euros regardless of group size.
Snacks and fresh fruit are included. A full lunch is not, because each slot only runs 4 hours and most guests prefer to eat at their hotel before or after.
Yes. The €130 price is flat for the whole boat, so children are included in your group of up to 8 at no extra per-person cost. We recommend ages 6+ because of the speed and motion. Infants are not recommended on the speedboat.
Bottlenose dolphin sightings are very common on speedboat trips that detour through Dolphin House (Shaab El Erg). Sightings depend on weather and luck and are never guaranteed, but on most days the captain spots them.
